Product(s) Affected: all CB-Series UR10 robots from S/N:2022300570
In April 2022 the bolt connection between upper arm and elbow house was changed.
Change:
Added: 1009196 friction shim (0,3 mm steel shim)
Changed: 31410 changed to 1009186: 0,3 mm cutout on tube end.
If size 3 elbow joint is replaced with a spare part joint (part no. 122324) be aware of following:
- Check if robot is built before or after April 2022
- If built before: No friction shim. Replace joint as usual.

Rule: - If robot is born with a shim (tube=1009186) – shim MUST be kept installed. - If robot is born without a shim (tube=31410) – Do NOT install a shim
New tube (1009186) is compatible and need a shim (After April 22) Old tube (31410) is not compatible with shim (Before April 22)

- If built After: Check if friction shim is installed. Make sure to re-attach shim from old joint before old joint is discarded. Friction shim shall be installed and reused together with replacement joint.
