Any unauthorized intervention will void the warranty. Service related operations and troubleshooting should only be performed by qualified personnel.
Before performing service related operations, always make sure to stop the robot program and disconnect power supply to any potentially dangerous tool on the robot or in the work cell.
In the event of a defect, Universal Robots recommends ordering new parts from the Universal Robot distributor that the robot was purchased from.
Alternatively, parts can be ordered from the nearest distributor, details of which can be obtained from Universal Robots official website at www.universal-robots.com

2. Why install the TP cable bracket?
The TP cable bracket is to be considered a product improvement. In some cases, bumping / pulling / twisting the TP cable inside the control box, can cause the TP to become unresponsive.
Installing the bracket will limit the movement of the cable at the connector, thereby ensuring full functionality of the TP.
This bracket has now been introduced to OEM controller for self-mounting in case of usage of a Universal Robots teach pendant.
