The sack gripper PSSG enables the automated handling of sacks. It is versatile and can be used for paper, plastic and woven sacks, including porous or low-fill bags. The gripper ensures reliable handling of a wide range of materials and geometries thanks to an innovative, durable sealing element made of FDA-compliant silicone.  Its modular design results in a low gripper weight and enables easy maintenance. Direct access to device data via smartphone is possible via an NFC interface. Options such as rigid connection or height compensation are available. Vacuum generation is integrated via the energy-saving SEP lard ejector modules. The sack gripper is available with integrated vacuum generation (PSSG-X) or with external vacuum generation (PSSG-M). It fits to Universal Robot´s UR10e as well as to UR20 and UR30 depending on the sack payload.

Sack gripper PSSG-X with integrated vacuum generation:

  • Attach the gripper mechanically to the robot. Rigid or floating attachments with height compensation are available for this purpose
  • Connect the gripper to the plug connection via the compressed air connection using a size 10/6 hose
  • Adjustable support grid prevents the bag packaging from being pulled in

Sack gripper PSSG-M with external vacuum generation:

  • Attach the gripper mechanically to the robot. Rigid or floating attachments with height compensation are available for this purpose
  • Connect the external vacuum generator and gripper with a hose via the vacuum connection
  • Adjustable support grid prevents the bag packaging from being pulled in
