Unlike the rigid structure of the traditional fixture, the flexible gripper has soft pneumatic fingers, which can adaptively cover the target object without adjusting size and shape of the object accurately.
This characteristic of the soft gripper has got rid of the shackles of the traditional production line requiring the equal size of the production objects.
