Configuring new parts for automation has never been easier. The Mill Automation System includes the VersaBuilt System Controller (VSC). The VSC allows a machinist to configure a new part in just a few minutes. Using a web-based form, the machinist inputs part configuration parameters. Once the part configuration is saved, the CNC operator can select a saved part configuration and the VSC shows the operator exactly where to load material onto the infeed. Press cycle start and the system starts processing.

Automating high-mix, low-volume production has been solved with VersaBuilt’s MultiGrip technology. MultiGrip allows machinists to quickly introduce new parts to the system for multi-operation processing. The MultiGrip Gripper, 2 MultiGrip vises and a starter kit of MultiGrip jaws are included with the system.
