Electrical Interfaces

The Tool Connector, located at the end of the robot arm on the tool flange, provides various interfaces for connecting end effectors and tooling. For e-Series, the adapter is male, while UR20 and UR30 are equipped with a female connector.

The Tool Connector will most often be used with a ready-made end effector from UR+ where power and communication will often be transferred in 1 cable. However, the tool connector interface can be adjusted to many different needs.
