Customer Sharing: A Success Story - Plasform Sdn Bhd
Plasform are a SME specialist in injection moulding of plastics products with over 30 years of experience and was an early adopter of Universal Robots in Malaysia.
He will share the challenges facing the plastics industry in Malaysia, including rising operational costs, lack of capital, and skilled labour shortages, as well as his and Plasform's automation journey as they started working with flexible, easy-to-program, UR cobots.
The presentation on their transition will include sharing on how Plasform got started by preparing their staff, conducted feasibility and financial assessments, assessing technical and upskilling requirements, and even choosing their system integrator. He will also highlight Plasform's automation successes across various plastic-related applications, as well as the benefits they experienced.
