Universal Robots has announced the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective May 1, 2024.
Sonja Østergaard joins UR from Vestas where she has most recently worked as Head of Strategy and Portfolio in Digital Solutions. She has previously been responsible for the COO Finance Organization at Vestas and has also held a variety of roles at Novo Nordisk.
President Kim Povlsen said “Sonja brings unique experience of working at the intersection of finance, strategy and operations in other market-leading global companies. We look forward to having her as part of our senior management team supporting Universal Robots.”
